The Principal and Director of Abacus, Lisa Zambelli started her Accounting career in 1993 as an undergraduate at a large firm in Brisbane’s CBD. Gaining vast amounts of knowledge and experience in many different areas of Accounting, Lisa completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and became a member of CPA Australia. in 1999 she decided it was time to take the next step. At just 26 years old Lisa launched her own Accounting firm; ‘Abacus Taxation Services’.

Lisa started the business as home based, visiting clients on a daily basis to discuss their business, offer advice and catch up on the happenings in their lives. In 2003, her sister Vicki Zambelli stepped in to help out with Accounting, Bookkeeping & Administrative duties. Vicki has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and is now a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

In 2005 Lisa’s client base developed into a healthy business prompting the opening of the office in Springwood, QLD.

in 2010 Susan Gair joined the team as a Client Services Assistant. After a bit of a break, Chantal rejoined the team in 2015 as the resident bookkeeper and workflow officer and Jorgi joined the team in 2016 as Administration Assistant and Processes Coordinator.
